MARCIA HAGEN DNP

Marcia Hagen has been serving on medical mission teams for more than 15 years, bringing compassionate care to communities in Mexico and Guatemala. As a Nurse Practitioner, she has worked with patients of all ages and developed a deep appreciation for the beauty of Guatemala and its people.

After earning her doctoral degree from Walden University, Marcia returned to her alma mater, Viterbo University, where she now teaches in the graduate nursing program. Through her work, she introduces students to the world of medical missions and humanitarian service, inspiring the next generation of healthcare professionals to lead with empathy and respect.

Marcia values the dignity and strength of those she serves and those she serves alongside. Her commitment to fostering respect and shared humanity shines through in every interaction. She lives in Wisconsin with her husband and continues to give back through her local Lions Club, especially on vision-related projects that change lives.
